During some small cleanup around the car, I lost my Dutch work parking pass. Most likely, it stayed behind somewhere in Norway and is still enjoying its extended vacation near Geiranger.

Luckily, no personal data was connected to it, so it was not a serious problem. Still, it became one of those random travel memories that sticks. You visit one of the most beautiful fjord areas in the world, and somehow one of the stories becomes a lost parking pass from work.

According to the Airbnb invoice, our stay was for one night in Geiranger from September 16, 2022 to September 17, 2022. The booking was for two guests and was paid through PayPal on September 14, 2022 at 22:29.

For one night, €181.04 is not cheap. I understand that Geiranger is a special destination and that fjord view accommodation can cost more. Still, when the total price is this high, the basics need to be right. A leaking shower and no response from the host make the value feel weaker.

The view was premium. The communication was not.

I would recommend this Geiranger Airbnb only with a clear warning. If your main goal is a beautiful view over the fjord, a quiet place to sleep, and a simple apartment for one night, it can be a good choice. The location gives you a perspective over Geiranger that many visitors will not have.

But if you care strongly about host communication, easy parking, and quick support when something is wrong, I would be more careful. Our experience with the leaking shower and the lack of response was not good.

That makes this stay difficult to rate. The view was excellent. The sleeping comfort was excellent. The apartment was useful. But the service side did not match the price.
