During our stay at the SFO El Rancho Inn, which is literally across the street, we decided to visit this McDonald’s to grab some food. After a long travel day, this was one of those moments where convenience really matters. We simply walked across the street and ordered inside using the self-order kiosks. Everything worked smoothly and intuitively. What stood out immediately was the speed: within five minutes, our food was already ready — hot, fresh, and well prepared. Prices felt fair, especially for a California location, and exactly what you’d expect from McDonald’s in the U.S.
This location is also very easy to reach by car. There’s a full McDrive, making it a convenient stop if you’re driving in from San Francisco or heading toward San Francisco International Airport. The layout is clearly designed for efficiency and quick service.
Food-wise, this is classic American McDonald’s done right. The selection is broad, the quality is solid, and everything tasted great. Honestly, this is how you want to be welcomed into America food-wise, familiar, fast, and satisfying.S
Another big plus: take-away works perfectly here. We brought our food back to the hotel and ate there comfortably, which was ideal after a long day of traveling. Back in 2023, the staff was also friendly and efficient, which always adds to the experience, especially at a busy, near-airport location.
