Center Parcs Het Heijderbos 4 pers. Premium HB1922 is not just another cottage on the map. This time, I wanted to highlight one specific unit, cottage 965, because I personally did a shoot here. Normally I review parks as a whole, but this one deserved its own spotlight.

The Center Parcs Het Heijderbos 4 pers. Premium HB1922 is positioned above the standard Comfort cottages. It offers a more modern interior, better furniture, and a slightly more refined finish. It is not VIP level, but it clearly feels like an upgrade compared to the basic options.

If you are booking based on layout and location, this one is worth considering.

Location of Cottage 965 on the Park Map

The location of Center Parcs Het Heijderbos 4 pers. Premium HB1922 cottage 965 is along the northern outer edge of the park, close to the white round marker 24, which indicates direct forest access.

That means:

• You are right on the forest boundary
• You avoid central noise from the Market Dome
• You step into nature within seconds

Walking times from cottage 965:

• Approximately 8 to 10 minutes to the Market Dome
• Around 9 minutes to Aqua Mundo
• Very short distance to forest trails

The full park map is shown here. This map shows all cottages and the whole area. It’s the map, downloaded in February 2026.

For many guests, location matters more than interior design. You already see the inside when booking. But being at the forest edge changes your entire experience. Personally, I love this spot. A waterfront view would be even better, but a forest edge setting feels calm, private, and natural.

The Center Parcs Het Heijderbos 4 pers. Premium HB1922 in this location offers peace over park traffic, and that makes a difference.

Entrance Hall, A Smart Practical Detail

When entering the Center Parcs Het Heijderbos 4 pers. Premium HB1922, you step into a small hallway. It may look unnecessary, but it is actually very practical.

Shoes go here. Wet jackets stay here. Dirt stays contained.

For families, this is huge. No muddy shoes in the living room. No wet smell spreading through the house. Even for two guests with multiple pairs of shoes, this hallway keeps the cottage tidy.

Small detail, big impact.

Living Room and Kitchen Layout

The main living area of the Center Parcs Het Heijderbos 4 pers. Premium HB1922 feels modern and functional.

The dining area includes a table with two chairs and a bench. The kitchen is equipped with:

• Gas stove, not induction
• Extractor hood
• Sink
• Full kitchen inventory
• Plates, cutlery, glasses
• Coffee options
• Electric kettle

You will not miss essential kitchen tools here.

The sofa in the living room is comfortable and finally feels like proper indoor furniture. Older Center Parcs cottages used to feel like they had garden sets inside. Thankfully, that era is gone.

The coffee table is very small. For four people, it is almost impractical. Even for two guests, it feels limited.

The flatscreen television is small and somewhat awkwardly placed in a recessed slot under the kitchen section. It works, but the positioning is not ideal.

From the living room, you walk straight onto the terrace. Outdoor furniture is provided, and you get your own small private garden. Combined with the forest edge location, this makes the outdoor space feel quiet and secluded.

Bedrooms and the Single Glass Discussion

The Center Parcs Het Heijderbos 4 pers. Premium HB1922 has two bedrooms.

Each bedroom contains two beds pushed together, which can be separated. There are:

• Nightstands
• Power outlets
• Bedside lamps
• Opening windows
• Option for a baby bed
• A safe in one of the rooms

The safe is ideal for valuables. Just make sure you remember the code.

Now the critical note.

The bedrooms still use single glass windows.

This is surprising. Many cottages have been modernized, yet the bedrooms remain single glazed. That means:

• Reduced insulation
• More outside noise
• Higher energy loss
• Lower sustainability standard

From a guest perspective, it impacts comfort in colder months. From a company perspective, single glazing is outdated and inefficient. Modern standards almost universally use double glazing. Even many garden sheds today have better insulation.

This feels like a missed upgrade opportunity for Center Parcs.

Bathroom Layout and the Missing Bathtub

The bathroom in the Center Parcs Het Heijderbos 4 pers. Premium HB1922 is minimal but complete.

You will find:

• Shower cabin
• Sink with faucet
• Mirror with built in lighting
• Storage shelves without doors
• Step stool for children

There is no bathtub.

Years ago, Center Parcs cottages often included bathtubs. Those have mostly been replaced by shower cabins. Personally, I prefer showers, but families with small children may miss having a bathtub option.

The storage space is practical, though open shelving may not appeal to everyone.

Final Verdict on Center Parcs Het Heijderbos 4 pers. Premium HB1922

The Center Parcs Het Heijderbos 4 pers. Premium HB1922 in cottage 965 offers:

• Strong location
• Smart layout
• Modern living area
• Functional kitchen
• Private terrace
• Quiet forest edge setting

The only major drawback remains the single glass bedrooms.

If location and privacy matter most to you, the Center Parcs Het Heijderbos 4 pers. Premium HB1922 at cottage 965 is a very solid choice. I would personally book this one again purely for its forest edge positioning.
