Located directly within the pyramid, Public House is positioned as a modern American sports bar that balances upscale comfort with a relaxed, energetic atmosphere. During our visit, everything from service to food quality matched that promise surprisingly well.
General Information About Public House at Luxor
Public House is located inside the Luxor Hotel & Casino, one of the most recognizable resorts on the Las Vegas Strip. The venue focuses on American comfort food, craft cocktails, and live sports, making it a logical stop for hotel guests, sports fans, and travelers looking for a casual but polished dining experience.
Luxor
This Luxor Hotel & Casino Las Vegas Review is based on a real stay in 2023, when we booked one night inside the famous pyramid for just $95 for two people. As Europeans, that price instantly set expectations low. A small room, basic comfort, nothing special — or so we assumed. This Luxor Hotel & Casino Las Vegas Review tells a very different story.

Location and Contact Details
Public House is easy to find once inside the Luxor complex and works well both as a planned dinner stop and a spontaneous visit after exploring the casino floor.

Atmosphere and Concept
The interior feels modern but not overdesigned, with plenty of seating, large bar areas, and an impressive number of televisions. Whether you are seated at the bar or at a table, sightlines to the screens are excellent. This setup makes Public House particularly suitable for watching major sports events without feeling cramped or rushed.
Food and Drink at Public House
Upscale American Comfort Food
The menu focuses on elevated American comfort food. Starters include items like Carne Asada Spring Rolls, Fried Stacked Mozzarella, Sesame Seared Tuna, and Crispy Mac & Cheese Squares. These dishes are familiar in concept but prepared with higher-quality ingredients and attention to presentation.
Sandwiches include options such as Turkey Brie, Pulled Pork, and Roast Beef Au Jus. Burgers are a major highlight, especially the Public House Burger, made with a half-pound Angus beef patty served on a toasted English muffin. Filet Mignon Sliders add a more upscale option for guests looking to share or sample multiple dishes.
Sides and desserts are plentiful, with roughly a dozen choices available, allowing guests to customize meals without feeling limited.

Cocktails, Beer, and Happy Hour
Public House delivers exactly what you expect from a Las Vegas sports bar when it comes to drinks. The cocktail menu is solid, draft beers are ice cold, and the bar is clearly designed for volume during busy sports nights.
Happy Hour runs from 8:00 PM to 10:00 PM on Mondays and Thursdays. During that time, guests can enjoy $5 well cocktails and $5 draft beers with the purchase of an entrée, available at the bar only. For Las Vegas standards, this is a genuinely good deal.

Service Options and Sports Viewing
Public House Luxor Las Vegas Review about this Las Vegas sports bar would not be complete without mentioning how well the venue handles live sports. The restaurant is explicitly suited for watching games, with large screens placed throughout the space. During our visit, we watched Inter Miami play Chicago, and visibility was excellent from our table. It’s still a Las Vegas sports bar, so what is this place without some soccer and American Football on the flatscreens.

Service was fast, professional, and friendly. Orders were taken quickly, food arrived sooner than expected, and staff checked in without being intrusive. For a busy casino restaurant, this level of service stands out positively.
Our Personal Experience
Our experience at Public House was genuinely very good. We were welcomed professionally, seated quickly, and served efficiently. Watching Inter Miami versus Chicago added to the experience, as the atmosphere felt lively without being overwhelming.
One standout moment was the spare ribs. The dish came with a muffin, and the ribs themselves were exceptional. Easily one of the best ribs dishes experienced, ranking firmly in a personal top three. Comparable quality was previously only experienced at a restaurant in the Netherlands, ’t Vaantje in Reeuwijk, which says a lot about the execution here. The travel companion’s dish was also very well prepared, confirming consistent kitchen quality.
Prices in Las Vegas, and Why They Are Higher
Prices at Public House are on the higher side, but this aligns with Las Vegas norms. Hotel room rates in Las Vegas are often relatively affordable because resorts generate significant revenue through dining, drinks, entertainment, and casino activity. Food and beverage pricing reflects high operational costs, premium locations, staffing demands, and the expectation that guests are on vacation and willing to spend more.
This pricing structure is common across the Strip, and Public House fits squarely within that model. While not cheap, the quality, portion sizes, service, and atmosphere justify the cost.
Practical Details and Policies
Public House offers mobile ordering for guests who prefer a streamlined experience. MGM Rewards members with Gold status or higher receive priority online dining reservations. The dress code is casual, making it accessible for travelers coming straight from sightseeing or the casino floor.
Private dining is available for parties of 15 or more, with arrangements handled by phone.
Final Thoughts on Public House Luxor Las Vegas Review
Public House Luxor Las Vegas Review concludes with a clear recommendation. This is a strong option for American comfort food, sports viewing, and casual dining within the Luxor. Service quality, food execution, and atmosphere all exceed typical expectations for a casino restaurant. While prices reflect Las Vegas realities, the experience delivers solid value for what is offered.
