After our very first Arctic Circle stay in Pello, at Tuomaan Tupa near Juoksenki, we continued north and arrived here in the late afternoon. From the moment we turned off the main road and followed the quiet stretch of Finnish road 956, it became clear that this overnight stay would be about isolation, nature, and silence.
