From the kitchen, you can walk into the living room. On one side there is a television, on the other side there is a sofa, and farther back there is also a high table. The rooms have a classic, almost old European house style, with leather sofas, heavy curtains, floral wallpaper, chandeliers, wooden cabinets, and rugs. It is not modern Scandinavian minimalism, but it has a warm and slightly nostalgic feeling.
One of the best parts for us was the extra sitting area behind the double doors before our room. We quietly claimed that corner for ourselves, closed the sliding doors, kept our voices low, and had a few beers there. It felt like having a semi private lounge inside a shared guesthouse, which made the stay more fun than expected.

For a simple traveler, I would pick La Perla or Grill House Kruså. For a scenic casual stop, Annies Kiosk makes sense. For something special, Fakkelgaarden or Pearl by Paul Proffitt are the stronger choices. If you want drinks and snacks for the room, stock up before arriving, because Kollund Rooms itself is not the type of stay where you should expect hotel restaurant service.
